Mia Lazarus is a Sydney-based artist whose abstract paintings explore colour, composition and gesture. Working primarily with acrylic, oil and oil stick, she builds layered, tactile surfaces through pouring, mark-making, erasure and reworking. Currently undertaking a Master of Fine Art at the National Art School, her intuitive practice balances control and spontaneity, creating works that feel dynamic, atmospheric and alive with movement.
