WORKING OUT YOUR HAT SIZE

A well-fitting hat starts with the right measurement. With just a soft tape measure or a piece of string, you can easily find your perfect fit at home.

Tip: Measure where your hat would naturally sit for the most comfortable and flattering fit.

Step 1
Standing in front of a mirror, place the tape at the centre of your forehead. Gently wrap it around your head—about 1cm above your ears—to the most prominent point at the back.

Step 2
Note the measurement where the tape meets. If you’re using string, measure it against a ruler to find your size.

Step 3
For the most accurate result, measure a few times to ensure consistency. Once you have your number, refer to our size guide to discover your perfect fit.

OUR HAT SIZING

Each Avenue hat is designed for a comfortable, true-to-size fit. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up and using the adjustable inner band for a more secure feel.

SMALL / MEDIUM (55–56cm)

Our smallest size.
If your head measures 53–54cm, we recommend using the adjustable sweatband or adding hat filler for a more secure fit. These can comfortably reduce the size by 1–2.5cm.

MEDIUM / LARGE (57–58cm)

Our most popular and universally flattering fit.
If your head measures around 57cm, the adjustable sweatband can be tightened slightly for a snug finish. This size also suits head sizes up to 58.5cm.

LARGE / EXTRA LARGE (59–60cm)

Our largest size, perfect for those who prefer a roomier fit.
Ideal for head sizes 59–61cm. If you’re at the lower end of this range, the adjustable sweatband can be used to bring the fit in for added comfort.

APPAREL SIZE GUIDE

Our garments are available in XS, S, M, L and XL. Specific styles are only available in S–M and M–L. All pieces are designed to have a relaxed fit on the body, and most feature elasticised detailing and adjustable drawstring ties.
